The program's first initiative in Camden has proved a major success. <br><br>This system allows fugitives to surrender at a church in order to facilitate safe and orderly resolutions to minor outstanding criminal offenses. It's a great way to clean bench warrants out of the system. The program worked in Philly. so Christie decided to bring it across the river.<br><br>In the first six hours, <a href="http://courierpostonline.com/article/20081120/NEWS01/811200372">approximately 300 fugitives voluntarily surrendered at Camden's Antioch Baptist Church</a>.<br></b></font>]]></content>

Mukasey</FONT><FONT size=2>&nbsp;collapsed during a speech Thursday night and was taken to the hospital after he failed to regain consciousness. There was no immediate word on his medical status.</FONT></P>

We heard a lot about reform, tax "cuts" for the middle class, his love of the troops, etc. Not exactly the language of a typical New Jersey liberal Democrat. <BR><BR>Now that John Adler is in Washington, however, the rarified air of our nation's capital has Adler feeling comfortable enough to be what he really&nbsp;is: a really, <EM>really</EM> big liberal.<BR></FONT><BR></STRONG><FONT face=Garamond size=3><STRONG>Today, Adler threw his support behind Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) for Chairmanship of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. So what, you say? Waxman is one of these Kyoto Treaty radical environmentalists. Waxamn opposes drilling and&nbsp;believes America can "save" the environment by bankrupting&nbsp;industrial corporations&nbsp;with socialism-inspired carbon taxes and government regulations. Not to mention the fact that <A href="http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/110/states/ca/">Waxman voted with Nancy Pelosi a whopping 97.8% of the time</A>.<BR></STRONG><BR><STRONG>What did you think you were voting for, citizens of NJ-3? </STRONG></FONT>]]></content>

the Dec. 31 deadline for towns to submit plans detailing how they intend to
meet their new affordable housing obligations. Lesniak was one of the lawmakers
who championed an affordable housing law that took effect in July but now says
more changes are needed to accomplish true reform and speed up construction of
affordable housing. The delay would give legislators more time to craft a better

Party for the Children in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County
program. Last years party had over 250 children in attendance and this
year we are expecting an even larger turnout. For most of these
children this will be their only Holiday Celebration as all of these
children come from single parent households and most from very humble
means. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated as we will
need to raise over $7500 this year to ensure every child is able to
receive 2 gifts each.</div></font><b><font color="#000000">
