Amodeo Explores Ways to Make N.J. Economy Soar

Every morning, New Jersey Democrats wake up, put on their pants, and contemplate new ways to squeeze money out of New Jersey taxpayers and businesses... all over a bagel and cup of coffee.

Then there's Republican legislators like my good friend John Amodeo (R-Atlantic) who, by contrast, work hard every day to improve this state's business climate. What a concept! John's latest idea, developed in collaboration with his district mate Vince Polistina, is to adopt a series of measures designed to incentivize aviation innovation and aviation industry-related growth in the greater Atlantic City region. The pair first promulgated this novel economic development strategy back in September

We're all well-acquainted with the plight of the casino industry which currently dominates the region's job market. Diversifying the A.C. economy could go a long way towards ameliorating the Southern Shore's double-digit unemployment rate.
