"Little Mikey" Illions Labels Webber, Rooney as "RINOs"

 | December 31, 2009

I usually refuse to indulge "Little Mikey" Illions and his strange rants. Why pick on a short guy with glasses who wears tights just because he likes the way they feel? That's not a real fight! But this little fruitcake certainly deserves one more butt kicking before 2009 is in the history book, Save Jerseyans.

He's attacking yours truly (again) -- and the uber-conservative Assemblyman Jay Webber (again) -- for "selling-out" to liberals in 2009.  He actually named Save Jersey "2009's biggest political story" (click here) for "claiming" to be the most-visited blog in New Jersey.

Ha! Predictable behavior from a mental midget. When Illions runs out of material (and readers), he does the logical thing from a marketing perspective and attacks the big dog on the conservative blogging block (yours truly). After all, we hosted over half a million visitors this year -- our first full year -- right here at Save Jersey. Illions hasn't gotten close to that kind of an audience in his blog's many years of mediocrity combined. His immature anger is jealously unmasked, folks.

The "RINO" charge is even more amusing. Jay Webber, who boasts an impeccable conservative voting record, just led the fight to elect our first pro-life, fiscally conservative statewide official in decades. For our part, Save Jersey garnered national attention by helping bury Corzine's stalking horse Chris Daggett among other valuable services to the conservative cause. Michael, on the other hand, wouldn't even endorse Chris Christie until after the election was over!

That's not the first time Mikey flip-flopped. The real RINO in this relationship is "Little Mikey" Illions, Save Jerseyans.

Enjoy! And click here to visit the Save Jersey "Illions archives" to learn more about our favorite fraud.

Michael "Wrestling is Cool at 40" Illions has declined my generous offer to make a cameo appearance on the state's most-visited conservative blog: Save Jersey. Fair enough. 15 minutes of fame are hard to come by, but I can't tell him what to do, Save Jerseyans.

I'll let Mikey off the hook. He knows my question is easily answerable: Kate Whitman isn't more conservative than Chris Christie, because Chris Christie is a real conservativeThat's not a shot at Kate Whitman. Rather, it's an affirmation of Mr. Christie's conservative values.

However, I can't let this go without making one more observation. Read a portion of Mikey's refusal:

"I don’t have to defend my endorsement of Kate Whitman to you Mr. Crybaby Jersey, or anyone else for that matter, nor do I have to point out the obvious reasons why Kate Whitman is more Conservative then Chris Christie."

Isn't this refusal to answer for personal beliefs exactly what Illions is always criticizing Chris Christie for? Mr. Christie has offered plenty of detailed answers: across-the-board tax cuts, immediate steps to curtail spending and government growth, a pro-life position with an eye on pursuing consensus-building restrictions, an end to the Abbott and COAH messes, and conservative solutions for numerous other important challenges facing taxpayers. Mikey just doesn't like to hear this, because the facts don't fit his pre-determined conclusion concerning Mr. Christie. Not very intellectually honest, and not very helpful for the cause of limited government, either.

Avoiding the issues by refusing to debate. Slandering other Republicans without evidence. Endorsing candidates based solely on whether they'll buy you an omlette at the Omega Diner.

You, Mr. Illions, are a "RINO".

    I say Matt "Jersey Shore" Rooney and Michael "AJ Sparxxx" Illions should settle this in the ring.

    But most likely Rooney would actually try to fight for real because he doesn't seem to "get it," just like this "battle of the blogs."

    With all the pictures of you floating around Matt, I certainly wouldn't talk about being a short, fat man with glasses. I thought you were standing in a hole in one the more recent shots.

    Michael Illions is a 44 year old failure at life who holds freedom toast rallies at the Omega Diner once a month so he can make a quick buck off of naive saps who are stupid enough to think they're REALLY part of some sort of viable movement. Matt, you give Illions too much credit. He's not so much a mental midget as he is a parasite who knows full well what he does. He's so shallow and pathetic that him and his goons have resorted to deleting and blocking my comments because they've simply gotten tired of somebody holding them accountable for thei actions and calling them out what they are. Michael Illions is nothing more than a school bully who's too dense to realize that everybody around him has grown up and is bigger than him now. He and his clown posse are total lowlifes with no guts who would never say HALF the things they say from behind their keyboards to anybody's face.

    Prediction for 2010: Despite his announced absolute and unconditional candidacy since August 2009, Michael Illions will NOT contest the Middlesex County GOP Chairmanship at the June 2010 Convention.

    In what month will Michael Illions withdraw his candidacy?
    A) January;
    February;
    C) March;
    D) April;
    E) May; or
    F) June (when he just would not put his name forward and hope no one notices)

    Take some guesses, Save Jerseyans, and let's see who ends up right.

      I think you make a fair point, but I wouldn't put it passed him to make a run for it just for the sake of trying to make Joe Leo's life miserable. Illions is that kind of a human being and the band of misfits that supports him are of the same mentality. It's not really about winning anything, it's about busting balls and making life difficult since they're so angry and hate their own lives so much.

      He's also got to do it in order to maintain some level of credibility with the saps he suckers out of their money in order to attend his freedom toast rallies once a month. If he ever decides to expand his fleecing operation, maybe he can do lunches too. Perhaps hot dogs with liberty cabbage!
