Christie and Rendell Set to Meet Today

Matt Rooney | November 23, 2009

During the election, Chris Christie often noted Pennsylvania's success in creating jobs while New Jersey's economy collapsed. The Governor-elect also expressed a desire to sit down with Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA) to pick his brain on the topic. Chris obviously knows the Keystone State's "secret" without a meeting-- the Pennsylvania tax climate is much less oppressive than New Jersey's.  A press conference with Rendell will be just another way to highlight how even a relatively liberal Democrat governor can preside over job creation.

Well, that day has finally arrived:

I always liked Governor Ed Rendell and sort of wished that he was our governor. Now we have Chris Christie, and I am thrilled knowing that he is getting together with Rendell. Our new governor seems to be making all the right choices to save this state. God has sent us an angel (-:
