SAVE JERSEY PROJECTS: CHRIS CHRISTIE DEFEATS JON CORZINE
Matt Rooney | November 3, 2009
YOU SAVED JERSEY!
You heard it here first, Save Jerseyans... with 71% reporting, Chris Christie is the new Governor-Elect of New Jersey!
Despite the NJ Democrats' best efforts, Corzine was unable to rally big enough numbers in urban areas and greatly underperformed Obama with independents and women when compared to Obama's 2008 landslide victory.

Do You Support Trenton's A.C. Takeover?

Yeah, I just noticed a red check mark on nj.com that says Christie is the winner.
How does this work? Don't all districts need to report before calling the election?

Awesome News!! I was holding my breath all day and now a big sigh of relief. Chris Christie is the new Governor elect and there is NOW hope for New Jersey!!!
With Virginia and New Jersey both electing Republican Governors our elected officials in Washington should wake up tomorrow with a NEW ATTITUDE.
Thursday, November 5th, I believe is the day to pay the NJ Congressional Delegation a visit to let them all know it's a new day in New Jersey and they MUST STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY NOW!!!!
Thank you Save Jerseyans and all at the Save Jersey Blog for your dedicated work in making this victory a reality.

Its been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to New Jersey. LOL

YUp, the funniest part of this is the fact that Michael Illions is actually attempting to say that it was THEM who put Chris over the top. What a joke! To all you great Republicans who brought chris home in Middlesex, don't ever forget this accomplishment and remember that people like Michael Illions are a threat and a cancer to the progress you have made as a party He was NEVER in Chris's corner and don't ever forget that, no matter what kind of smoke that charlatan tries to blow up your backsides. SAY NO TO ILLIONS!

GREAT NEWS. We won.
Time to buy Corzine a razor as a going away gift.

I'm just disappointed in the mixed message of the open sapce funding winning. We needed to give Trenton a solid message to STOP SPENDING until we get our house in order!

I think it just got burried amid all the hubbub of the Gubernatorial race. Most people probably didn't even know that the question was on the ballot.

It is time to eat some crow. I will take mine medium well please and some Stekk Sauce on the side. Might I be able to have a baked potatoe with that crow.
I also promised I would reveal myself if Christie won. Although I am sure Matt has know this for quite some time. Thanks Matt for keeping it a small secret.
GREAT JOB ALL!! Seriously, you never gave up, kept pushing, and despite attacks from both sides continued to believe that he would win, and look here you actually changed history and broke the string of losses.
First, just so you all do not think I have been talking out of my A$$ these past several months. When I say I have been a life long Republican activist and volunteer I meant it:
-YR for last decade holding position on the national state and local level on various executive boards.
-Volunteer Coordinator for both Kean Jr. for Senate and Forrester for Governor in Morris County.
-Morris area (Morristown, Morris Township, and Morris Plains) Republican Victory Coordinator 2005-2007
-And of course, Steve Lonegan Campaign Coordinator for Morris County
But again, CONGRATS to Save Jersey and all of you in here for never giving up and never giving in. You all did a very good thing.
And always remember one of the things I said on the trail during the primaries, Friendship comes before politics, always.

Well G-dless wonder, people like you cannot offend me. Probably becasue I am rarely bothered by children. The above is the best you can come up with provs that point.
But do me a favor, do not stand too close to my friends and such, you see when the lightening eventually strikes you, as it does with all of the G-Dless wonders at some point. I want to make sure they are not collateral damage.

You can flash all the credentials you want, you're nothing but a lowlife piece of garbage and you proved it here time and time again. Now, you want to make nice and say no hard feelings after all the garbage you spouted here?
I reiterate my previous statement.

Jason,
It's nice to see that a conservative was able to get behind a moderate Republican who, when compared to the Statist who's been de-elected, is still a conservative.
Hopefully, with Corzine's forced retirement and Christie's record of anti-corruption activities, we will be able to start putting this state's house in order.
NJ and all New Jerseyans will be the better off now that Corzine and his corrupt machine are history.

CHRISTIE DID IT! He won! And hopefully, in the process, so did the people and the state of NJ.
Whether Chris can really reduce property taxes remains to be seen, but hopefully he will reduce INCOME and SALES TAXES, those niggling taxes that hit the poor and middle class far more viciously than they do the wealthy.
A message was sent yesterday, both to big government types in TRENTON and in DC. We can NO LONGER afford to tax and spend at the rates we have been and FISCAL restraint needs to be the order of the day.
Hopefully, Chris can also bring back some "constitutional" governance back to NJ so that the state government ONLY deals with issues spelled out in the State Constitution. Perhaps then, the Marxist in the White House and his enablers in the House and Senate will start to 'honor' the U.S. Constitution.
