Today, the Gloucester County Times reported that Logan Township Mayor Frank Minor was given a job at the Delaware River and Port Authority (DRPA). Minor orginally started his political career as a Republican but switched parties in 2007. Minor will go from a taxpayer paid salary of $40,364 to a whopping $160,000 annual salary plus those "only in Jersey" benefits. At least the DRPA is denying him the use of a company car. Now that's progress!
Jim Hogan, DRPA Commission Chairman and current Gloucester County Clerk (who gave him the job) also started his career as a Republican. The Sweeny-Norcross machine rewards flip-floppers very handsomely to join their team!
In addition, it was reported that, despite editorials and the public speaking out against another unethical appointment, Steve Sweeney's baby bro, Richard was confirmed by the State Senate as DRPA commissioner. It's upaid, but if anyone thinks it's not a great stepping stone to future lucrative taxpayer paid positions, I have a few bridges to sell ya. Like I said, it's good to be a flip-flopper in Gloucester County and it certainly doesn't hurt to be Sweeney's baby bro. Remember, if you want to be in politics or goverment, it's not WHAT you know...it's WHO you know that matters.

There is no other state in the entire world for 8.5 mil residents in 8,000 sq mls with more than 1 Elected official & 50 Employees per sq mile under 588 govts. Over 9,000 Elected Scoundrels and 400,000 Employees with no work or very little work appointed for political reasons. State Budget $35 Billion and another $38 Billion for 587 Local Govts governing 566 racially segregated Towns with uneven area and uneven population ranging from 285,000 for a colored town with all kinds of problems and 35 people in a white town. 651 School Board Superts besides 21 County Superts in 651 School Dists with 2,419 Schools in 566 Towns for 1.4 Million Students out of which 250,000 children in 31 colored towns who can not read and write (NJ Politicians & Media says they can't comprehend in basic education!) despite the fact NJ has the highest cost in the world $19,000.00 to educate a student in rich districts and $28,000.00 in poor districts.
State of Delhi & capital of India for 3,035 state run schools with over 2.5 million students have only 1 Education Director. Some of the best doctors, scientist, engineers, architects, artists, computer professionals, educationists and businessmen in NJ are from Delhi state Schools. NY City for 1.8 million students has 1 School Superintendent and the entire state of Texas has 7.
Legally corrupt & racist State of NJ allows individuals to be both an Executive Branch employee and serve in the Legislative Branch in violation of Constitution. "You cannot be both an executive branch employee and serve in the legislative branch." Top on scoundrels list is Nicholas Sacco (D) Senator since 1994 and also is the Mayor of N. Bergen since 91, on the N. Bergen Twp Commission since 1985 & is also the Asst Suprt of N. Bergen BOE. Even the employees can have multiple jobs. Top on the list is Damian Murray municipal court Judge for 8 towns in Ocean County with a combine salary of $320,439.00. After retirement he will be collecting 8 pensions. Murray is making more than the CJ of America and less than 80K shy of the 400K salary of President Obama.
NJ also has the highest number of Police Chiefs over 550, Fire Chiefs over 450, Municipal Judges over 550, Asst Attorney Generals 574 in 8,000 sq mls for 8.5 people. New York for 8.2 mil has 1 Police Commissioner & 5
Then NJ has a deficit of over $140 billion including unfunded liabilities like pension, medical & transport etc. which is again the highest for a state in 8,000 sq mls with 8.5 mil
