BREAKING: Christie Maintains 10-Point Lead Over Corzine; Lonegan Supporters "Come Home"

Chris Christie is holding on to a double-digit lead over Jon Corzine, according to a new survey from Public Policy Polling:
Some danger remains for Christie. Corzine still has an opportunity to use his fortune to redefine Chris: "One particularly remarkable number is that among the quarter of the electorate that doesn’t know enough about Christie to have formed an opinion of him, he still holds a 48-30 lead. "

Chris Christie is holding on to a double-digit lead over Jon Corzine, according to a new survey from Public Policy Polling:
Check it out: 93% of Republicans support Chris! I guess our friends supporting Steve Lonegan have decided to back the campaign."In the first of what will be monthly surveys on the New Jersey race for Governor, Public Policy Polling finds incumbent Jon Corzine trailing Republican challenger Chris Christie 51-41. Christie has an unusually lopsided 60-26 lead with independent voters. He’s also benefiting from a remarkable level of party unity- he has a 93-3 advantage with Republicans while Corzine is up only 75-16 among Democrats.
There’s not much doubt Corzine’s unpopularity is driving the numbers in this race more than anything else. 56% of respondents reported having an unfavorable opinion, with 36% holding a positive view. For Christie the numbers are 43% favorable and 33% negative."

ahhhh, must be a good place where you all are. Me thinks I recall Doug Forrester leading Jon Corzine as well, also super Liberal no leadership little Tommy Kean (after voting to reconfirm Albin he deserves derision and defeat) was also ahead of mr amnesty for criminals (yes illegal aliens are criminals, NOT immigrants) Bob Menendez.
By the time Corzine is done, Christie will be lucky to garner 35%.
93% of Republicans support Christie huh, who did they ask? Machine politicians and their staffs. LOL!

I'm still waiting for Chris Christie to make some kind of statement that will tell me what kind of governor he will be.
I am disappointed in his silence over Gov. Corzine's budget, 4 State Senate Republicans backing liberal Justice Barry Albin for tenure, and 3 NJ GOP Congressmen supporting the expensive anti-business cap and trade bill.
So why is Christie choosing to remain mum? Is he afraid of offending Tom Kean Jr., Chris Smith and Frank LoBiondo, even though they screwed over NJ taxpayers with their votes? Maybe he just doesn't care whether these plans pass or not. I take it as Christie being another weak moderate. When he has no comment on issues that affect New Jerseyans but feels the need to constantly defend his stances on abortion and guns, that's not a good sign.
Come on, Christie. Simply being "Not Jon Corzine" won't be enough to win people over. You have to give people something to be enthusiastic about, or you're going to lose just like Forrester, Franks and Zimmer.
