AUDIO: Bret Schundler Talks to Save Jersey About Lonegan and Conservatism in Election '09

| June 29, 2009

Sorry for the delay in posting this interview, Save Jerseyans. It happens!

Here are parts 1 & 2 of my multi-part interview with prominent New Jersey conservative leader and 2001 GOP gubernatorial nominee, former Mayor Bret Schundler (R-Jersey City). The Mayor is still a force in New Jersey Republican politics and, if our sources are correct, he retains a spot on the Christie LG short list.

Mayor Schundler and I started the interview by discussing why he endorsed Chris Christie instead of Steve Lonegan in the 2009 Republican Primary. His answer may surprise you...

I followed-up by asking him to articulate the correct way to market conservative principles in order to build conservative majorities...

Part I:
Why He Chose Christie Over Lonegan

Part II: How to Effectively Market Conservative Ideas
