Congratulations to Save Jersey's Alex Smith!

I'm happy to announce that Save Jersey's very own chief Washington correspondent, Alex Smith, is the newly-minted 2009-2010 chairwoman of the College Republicans at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Alex was elected last night to serve as the organization's 15th chair. The CUA College Republicans, however, aren't like just any CR chapter. They enjoy a reputation as one of the most prestigious and active CR chapters in the entire United States of America. The CUA CR's consistently place among the nation's top chapters for per capita campus membership, RNC GOTV recruitment and quality celebrity speaking events. I was honored to lead this club during my sophomore year of college which, luckily for me, happened to overlap with Election 2004. I had the experience of a lifetime!
We all wish Alex a successful and productive year as leader of the CUA CRs!
