Here's our exclusive Save Jersey interview with former U.S. Attorney and NJGOP gubernatorial primary contender Chris Christie from yesterday's Atlantic County GOP Convention in Galloway Township. I apologize in advance about the image quality from the first third of the interview. We were live on location at the convention with my webcam, so sound and lighting issues were very hard to control. This interviews itself runs approximately 19 minutes long over two segments. We had to break at one point for the floor speeches and voting, only to pick up where we left off after the Christie victory was announced. During the interview, I asked Chris about everything from COAH and Steve Lonegan to baseball and Bruce Springsteen.
You'll quickly find that Chris, who is a very sharp and articulate guy, is also extremely down-to-earth. It's a great combination for an effective candidate capable of communicating to a diverse array of voters. How many guys can you share a beer with, talk about something dry like COAH and still have a good time? That's Chris Christie.

Lonegan HAS beaten Corzine (e.g., on toll hikes) and is the smartest and cleanest candidate to beat him again in November! Have the courage to break with the establishment and vote with your mind & heart on June 2nd to get NJ back from the bureaucrats!

Republicans: please read the attached WSJ article and realize that Lonegan's flat tax plan is the only one that can reverse the malaise of tax base leaving NJ. Christie is proposing a slight tweak of the status quo on taxes, which won't solve anything. Thanks.
