Rocco Riccio Interview Continued: A Detailed Case Study in Institutional Corruption

Matt Rooney | March 24, 2009

Yesterday, I shared with you two installments of my interview with Rocco Riccio. We talked mostly about his background and now-defunct relationship with sister-in-law Carla Katz.

Today's clips are a bit more revealing and detailed, Save Jerseyans. In the clips posted below, Rocco and I discussed some of the specific individuals and practices contributing to governmental waste and abuse in New Jersey. We also touched on his reaction to John Adler's letter to the attorney general, attacks launched by Democrat surrogates on his character, and the negative public perception of his role in the Corzine-Katz scandal. There's even a few sound bytes pertaining to Rocco's knowledge of a particular treasury scandal and, in the future, what Rocco says he's willing to do to help combat our state's culture of corruption.

These four interview installments, taken together, provide a unique and compelling case study in institutional corruption. They also make you wonder what information is worth paying $362,500 to hide...

Once again, I thank Rocco for taking the time to share his experiences and perspectives with Save Jersey. I sincerely hope he gets the opportunity to pursue and publish his tell-all book. New Jersey voters could certainly benefit from reading his story.

Very interesting stuff. I don't know if I buy the "reformer" routine, but it definitely seems possible he got the shaft from Corzine.

As a State Employee who has "revealed" goings on in my department, I can assure you Rocco is not exagerating the lengths they will go through to do you in and either get rid of you or make you sick enough to just bail out. This administration has no concept of the term "Merit System" and "Merit System Employees" -- can't cite the statute from 11A right now but watch for the "permanent appointments" approx. 6mos. before the end of the governor's term. It sickens me to see the career service employees starting at beginning wages being held down after 20 years of service for some political hack coming in on a political appointment at $80,000+ year after year and then finding positions for them without losing any money. I am to far along to walk but far enough away from retirement that I hope I make it. Good for you Rocco for coming forward!

Following my own exploration, millions of people on our planet receive the loans from various banks. Therefore, there's good chances to receive a car loan in every country.
