LoBIONDO ENDORSES CHRISTIE FOR GOVERNOR
MILLVILLE, N.J. - U.S. Congressman Frank LoBiondo (NJ-02) today issued the following statement in support of Chris Christie's campaign for the Republican nomination for Governor:
"Chris Christie has had a long, distinguished career in successfully prosecuting criminals, terrorists and public officials who have betrayed the people's trust. He has consistently remained focused on keeping our communities safe and removing corruption that has flourished within the state's public offices and political operations. He will restore integrity and transparency to New Jer sey and move our state in the right direction. Unequivocally, Chris Christie is exactly what New Jersey needs during these challenging times. I enthusiastically endorse his candidacy for Governor."

Hmm . . . maybe there is some weight to the previous rumour that LoBiondo was offered the Lt. Gov. position by Christie.

It'll be interesting to see, Jesse. Things are fluid. The NJGOP has a pretty deep bench these days, but I'm always excited when a fellow South Jerseyan gets some attention.

I like State Sen. Bill Baroni for Lt. Gov. It's extremely early in the political arena to be talking Lt. Gov., but I called it first, watch, if Christie wins the election come November, Baroni will likely get the nod to be New Jersey's first Lt. Gov. They are friends, he's a well-liked Pol in New Jersey, young and can energize the party and the State with his fresh ideas.
So how will this work, will they run as running mates, or will the selection come after the election? How will this new political dynamic play out in New Jersey?

Well, the first of the "Dem-Lite's" jumps on board! No matter what, I will always despise LoBiondo for going back on his word in regards to term limits. Just another politican who reneges for his own personal gain. What a sad state the leadership of the Republican party is in with clowns like him.
