Traditional Holiday Hess Trucks Arrive Today

By Matt Rooney | November 14, 2008

An American Christmas tradition continues today in Hess stores up and down the East Coast.

The company's famous toy trucks, produced since Christmas 1964, arrived in stores today. Leon Hess loved these trucks, and as a side note for you football fans, he was also an owner of the New York Jets.

I remember getting a truck every year on Christmas Eve. This year's Hess truck comes with a pretty sweet front end-loader. The whole packages in $22.99- a pretty good price by contemporary standards.
