ACORN's Informational Video

By Zebulon Pike | October 11, 2008

Many Americans scratched their heads when the first financial bailout bill contained a huge chunk of dough earmarked for the radical interest group "ACORN." Taxpayers collectively wondered aloud: what exactly is ACORN? Now we know.

Don't believe Republicans or even the media (who, shockingly, are actually reporting this story)? Check out ACORN's official informational web video. Note the parade of extreme-left Democrat politicians. Dennis Kucinich believes he had an encounter with aliens and Sherrod Brown is the first westerner since before Marco Polo to outright oppose free trade. Also observe that the video ends with a chorus of individuals singing "Yes We Can." Now where else have I heard that refrain?

The Cranbury Conservative is even reporting a Corzine-ACORN connection right here in the Garden State! Apparently, there's more acorns floating around here than blueberries or tomatoes.

Make no mistake about it: ACORN's illegal actions threaten the very foundations of our constitutional system. The United States of America remains, or at least for the next 24 days, a federal republic. America is not a pure democracy. Signing up felons and 14-year olds to vote, often multiple times per individual, is not something to celebrate. It's something that screams for state and federal prosecution.

ACORN is a good group. I think they made mistakes in supervising their voter registration people. Any crimes should be prosecuted. But multiple registrations of the same person at the same address does not affect the vote.

Poll watchers should watch for fraudulent voting, and report it. But I don't think that's really the problem. Just some employees inflating their tallies.

If ACORN has done what is claimed here. They should be indicted. I can claim any outrageous action, but if what is stated here is true formal legal action should follow. If no legal action is taken, then it is all smoke and mirrors. GET A LIFE.

ACORN and Corzine are both despicable.
